In accordance with 209.00593 of the Texas Property Code, the Association is soliciting candidates interested in running for the board. There are currently three (3) positions open for election. If you would like to have your name placed on the ballot for the January annual meeting, please submit your written request and include your name, e-mail, property address and a brief paragraph about yourself (150 words or less, optional) to be received no later than 5:00 pm on (December 27th) via one of the following methods:

Hunters Ridge Village is located in Kingwood, Texas. Also known as the "Livable Forest", Kingwood is best known for being a community that exists in harmony with nature. Kingwood's heavily wooded acreage is canopied with tall pines and magnolias, along with 20 other types of shade trees. The community is host to a variety of wildlife including deer, fish, birds, and more.
The Hunters Ridge Village Community Association was formed in January 1979 and includes 1,034 single-family detached homes in four sections; a small commercial shopping center at Northpark and Brookdale, a church on Northpark and Deerbrook; a community park at 2706 Brookdale, just south of Northpark; and a community pool at 4121 Oak Gardens between Woodbridge and Brookdale.
There are four entryways, all accessed from the south side of Northpark Drive, east of Woodland Hills: Meadow Springs, Woodbridge, Brookdale and Deerbrook. All entrances are marked with lighted entrance signs and landscaping.
The fiscal assessment year is July 1 - June 30.
Services provided by HRVCA include: HPD off duty patrol; community pool maintenance, operations and improvements; community park maintenance and improvements; entryways (3) and common areas (several cul-de-sac islands)landscaping, maintenance and improvements; deed restrictions/ACC enforcement; Kingwood area parks operations and maintenance; Kingwood area supplemental public safety expenses; Kingwood entryways on Kingwood Drive; Annual Christmas Decoration Contest judging (by recruited Hunters Ridge volunteers); mosquito fogging from April to November or later; contract with garbage service provider (currently Best Trash) and liaison with Houston city government.
